The service

Cobbtree, operated by COZQ Limited (United Kingdom), provides software for beauty and wellness businesses, including booking, client operations, Sites, marketplace discovery, and payments via Stripe Connect (direct charges).

Merchant of record

For salon service and retail card payments collected through Connect direct charges, the connected business (the salon) is the merchant of record. Cobbtree collects a configurable application fee (default 1%, capped at £3) and does not accept connected-seller negative balance liability under the locked Connect model (Stripe is losses and fees collector; dashboard type full).

For The Plan subscription (£12 + VAT per active location / month), Cobbtree / COZQ Limited is the merchant of record via Stripe Billing on the platform account. VAT treatment for SaaS remains subject to the operator's accountant confirmation.

Accounts

You must provide accurate registration details and keep credentials secure. Business accounts may only be used by authorised staff of the named business. Platform administrators may suspend accounts that abuse the service or breach these terms.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the platform, interfere with other users, scrape protected data, or use Cobbtree for unlawful activity. Content you publish (Sites, marketplace listings, reviews) must be accurate and lawful.

Availability and liability

Soft-launch services are provided as available. We aim for reliable availability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cobbtree excludes liability for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the soft-launch service.
