The diary, the till and your online bookings, in one place.
We're starting with the businesses that make great local services possible. Run a salon, barbershop, clinic or studio, or work for yourself? Join Cobbtree as one of our first businesses.

Who Cobbtree is for
A single chair or a room above a shop, a team of twelve across two branches, or something in between. Same diary, same till, same price.
Hair & Styling
Nails
Barbers
Facials & Skincare
Massage
Eyebrows & EyelashesAlso hair removal, makeup artist, spa & wellness, tattoo & piercing - and more.
Book. How clients book with Cobbtree
New clients have to be able to find you. Regulars have to be able to rebook in thirty seconds.
Bookings come in from your own website, from the Cobbtree marketplace and from the desk, and they all land on one diary - live, with no double entry.
A website that takes bookings
Services, prices, team, opening hours and reviews come straight from your account, so the site is right the moment you change a price. A Cobbtree subdomain is included; your own domain is a yearly add-on.
Online booking
Cobbtree checks the staff rota, the real service duration and any patch-test requirement before it accepts the booking. Your prices and durations are the ones the client sees, on every slot.
It is an instant booking, not a request sitting in an inbox waiting for someone to approve it.

Deposits and no-shows
Pay in full, pay a deposit, or pay at the venue - set per service, not once for the whole business. The price, the VAT and anything due now are broken out before the client confirms.
Set a notice window and a late-cancellation fee, and Cobbtree charges the card the client agreed to when they booked. A late drop-out is not a free hour.

On a phone
Service, person, time, payment - in that order, with your price on every slot. Clients can ask for someone by name, or let Cobbtree show the earliest time across the whole team.
Nothing to download, and no account needed before they can see whether you are free.

More than one location
Add a location when you are ready and Cobbtree still treats it as one business: one team, one client list, one set of reports, with hours and amenities per branch.
When the Cobbtree marketplace opens, people already searching nearby will find those branches and book them. The client relationship stays yours from the first visit.

When the day is full you are still filling it. Cobbtree holds the demand and messages the next client the moment a gap opens up.
Build the questions you actually need, completed on the client's phone before they arrive. Mark a service as needing a patch test and Cobbtree checks for one before the booking goes through.
Preferences, notes, allergies and spend follow the client. Whoever is on the desk sees the same record.
Manage. Running your business on Cobbtree
One system for the diary, the till and the client record.
Not a booking tool in one tab and a card machine on the counter that knows nothing about it. The visit, the payment and the client's history are the same record.
The till at the chair
Card, cash or a split, with retail on the same ticket. Mark the client arrived, take the payment, done - and the service stays on the ticket until it has actually been paid.
Payments run through Stripe into your own bank account. Cobbtree never holds your takings.

Reports
Sales by weekday and hour, gross and net, VAT and discounts, grouped however you need to look at them. It is the difference between guessing at next month's rota and knowing.

Give each person the access they need and nothing more. A PIN locks the till between clients, so the day's takings are not open on a screen at the front of the shop.
Sell products on the same ticket as the service. Track quantity by location, order from suppliers, run a stocktake and move stock between sites.
Sell a course of treatments up front, a monthly membership with member prices, or a gift card at the desk - all with a balance the team can see.
Revenue, bookings, cancellations and wages due, split by day, branch, staff and service. The same figures your team is working from.
Grow. Bringing clients back
A visit that went well should turn into the next one.
Nobody has time to run a retention campaign between clients. So the things that bring people back are part of the booking itself - set once, then working quietly on every visit.
Loyalty
Set the stamps, the spend that earns one and the reward. Clients see the offer above your prices, and the stamp only counts once the visit has been paid for.

Memberships and gift cards
A monthly membership with member pricing, or a gift card someone buys for a friend at 11pm. Both sell from your own site without you being there, and both land as a balance your team can see on the client record.

Packages
A course of treatments sits on the menu beside your single services, bought in one go and drawn down visit by visit. The remaining balance is on the client record, so whoever is on the desk knows what is left.

A Cobbtree review has to come from a paid, completed booking, so a rating means something. Someone who was never in the chair cannot leave one.
Stamps and rewards live on the client's phone, not on a card they will lose. The stamp only lands once the visit is actually paid for.
Pricing
The plans differ by how many people take bookings on the diary - not by holding features back. Pick the size you are, change it whenever that changes.

Questions
The first 20 approved businesses get Cobbtree free for 6 months. After that your chosen plan continues at its published price. The Founder period replaces the standard 60-day trial. Registering does not by itself guarantee a Founder place - places are allocated when a business is approved.
No. A client who discovers you through the Cobbtree marketplace carries a one-time 10% + VAT fee on their first booking; every booking that client makes after that is free, and bookings from your own site or your own clients never carry a fee at all.
Card processing, which is Stripe's own rate on your own Stripe account with nothing added by Cobbtree. Gift cards carry 5% once, on what was paid for the card - never out of the balance, so it can still be spent in full. Memberships carry 5% on membership money as it is collected, and nothing when a member uses a perk. The full list, with what each one is charged on, is in the pricing section above.
Straight to you. Card payments run through your own Stripe account and pay out to your own bank. Cobbtree never holds your takings, so there is no platform balance to wait for.
Yes. Bring your client list over and we will help you get it in cleanly, including past visit history where your current system will export it. Nobody should have to retype a thousand clients to change software.
How many people can take bookings on the diary. Every plan includes online booking, the diary, the till, your Cobbtree website, client records, reporting, memberships, gift cards and loyalty.
No. There is no setup fee, no onboarding fee and no minimum term. You pay monthly and you can stop whenever you want.
Once our first founding businesses are set up and ready to take bookings. Your Cobbtree website, diary and till all work from day one - the marketplace is additional reach on top, not the thing you are waiting for.
